		At Floor Fix we take our customers safety very seriously!
		While I've never heard of ANYONE needing any medical treatment related to the epoxy, I believe anyone using it should be aware of the hazards posed to human health and welfare.
		Our epoxy is a safe product when the proper precautions are taken, but can be very harmful to those who ignore safety guidelines. A few extra minutes of planning and having the proper equipment can save you a trip to the hospital! I believe very strongly in the safety of my customers and feel it is my duty to list these precautions.
		While using this epoxy in the granite industry I was not told of the dangers posed by this epoxy. My coworkers and I never used respirators or safety glasses or even gloves! To us it wasn't a big deal as we were tough guys who would dump Acetone on a rag and wipe up all our messes. Ventilation wasn't a really big deal because we would only usually use one batch of glue in a large open kitchen area. But what I regret the most is that our customers were not told about the vapors of our glues and epoxies until after we had started to use them and the odors reached the customers. Some elderly customers with respiratory problems mentioned that they would very much have appreciated being informed of this beforehand. I intend to make all my customers aware of any hazard to their personal health and that of their families.
		Be ready to work fast safely! Once the hardener is added you only have 5-8 minutes to apply the epoxy before it gels, product is somewhat runny and may fall off spreader while over your head and thus onto face and in eyes, on clothes and in mouth! If it gets on your skin or hair a rag with acetone will clean it off before it sets (be aware of your personal tolerance to Acetone, I have used it as have many others I've worked with), if it gets in your eyes, ears, mouth, or is ingested seek immediate medical treatment. In a small or cramped work area ALWAYS try to position yourself out of the way of epoxy that falls off your spreader. Be aware of excess epoxy while spreading that will fall to the floor. Any epoxy that has had hardener added will set as hard as a rock! Be aware of your spills!
		The vapors released while epoxy is in two parts and until it fully cures are harmful to the respiratory system. Infants should not be exposed to these vapors in any way. I would say that the vapors are very similar to those released by wood stain and paint. Some people can handle these types of vapors without much protection, others may be more sensitive to these vapors. With this epoxy it really comes down to how much you plan to apply at one time. One batch for a small area spot fix will not be a big deal in a basement or crawlspace and will not build up much vapor if foundation vents are present. HOWEVER, if you plan to do a 500 to 1000 square foot area all at once I STRONGLY RECOMMEND A TEMPORARY FORCED AIR VENTILATION SYSTEM!
		My greatest fear has always been jeopardizing the welfare and safety of children! Please DO NOT expose infants and small children to this epoxy or its vapors! I would rather not sell the product than endanger anyone.
		You the customer must assure that ventilation is maintained. Do not allow pets or children to touch or be in close proximity to epoxy. It is the customers responsibility to see to the welfare of all structure inhabitants, seller of this product will not be held liable for any damages.
